Here is our nice 4-room apartment, located in the leafy and attractive area Jardines de Calahonda close to both beach, shops and restaurants and only 10-15 minutes drive to Marbella and Fuengirola.
The apartment has two lovely terraces of a total of 30 sqm. One for coffee in the morning sun and one for day and evening sun. On the large terrace facing southwest, there is a dining table and space for socializing. Here it is sunny all day and evening with views of both sea, pool and mountains and you can enjoy the beautiful sunset during the evening dinner.

If you like to live fresh and comfortable while being close to most things, then this is the home for you!
The apartment is newly renovated and has an open floor plan. It is 80 square meters, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms. All three bedrooms have access to the terrace. Three of the rooms have separate AC.
The apartment is fully equipped to Swedish standards with utensils, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine, iron/ironing board, TV, a bluetooth speaker and a good wifi.
The apartment is super fresh, newly renovated and has all the amenities you need.
The living room has a sofa, armchairs, fireplace, TV and window/access to the large and lovely terrace with dining table, lounge sofa and weber grill. The apartment also has a good Wifi.
Calahonda in Mijas is a nice place where you like to stay for a long time. Calahonda has some of the longest sandy beaches on the Sun Coast. The beaches of Calahonda have received the international award "Blue Flag" which means that the water quality, sanitation, safety and accessibility are really good! Along the beach runs a several kilometer long wooden promenade.
There are also several restaurants and bars inside Calahonda as well as along the beach, such as Luna Beach Restaurant, 15 minutes walk from the apartment.
Just outside the apartment is a large green area and the large communal pool that is supervised by a lifeguard. The pool is open from May 16 to October 23.
In the Jardines de Calahonda, you avoid disturbing traffic noise and congestion that are found in many other areas as well as in the larger towns - but you move quickly by car or bus to the tourist routes in, for example, Marbella. Puerto Banus and Fungeriola when you feel like it ...
Calahonda i Mijas är en fin plats där man gärna stannar länge. I närheten finns några av solkustens längsta och finaste sandstränder. Stränderna i Calahonda har fått den internationella utmärkelsen "Blå flagg" som betyder att vattenkvalitén, renhållning, säkerhet och tillgänglighet är riktigt bra!
Längs med stranden löper en flera kilometer lång strandpromenad i trä.
Det finns också flera restauranger och barer inne i Calahonda samt efter stranden, tex Luna Beach Restaurant, ca 10 minuters promenad från lägenheten.

From Calahonda it is "close to everything". 15 minutes drive west is the city of Marbella with pulse, restaurants and shops in abundance. 15 minutes to the east is Fuengirola with, for example, a zoo and water park. Malaga is a 25-minute drive away, a major city with lots of shopping, cultural activities and restaurants.
If you want to make a little longer excursions, you can drive an hour's drive north and follow in Ernest Hemingway's footsteps in the mountain town of Ronda. Or why not visit the Rock of Gibraltar an hour's drive south. If you like skiing, it takes two hours to drive to the Sierra Nevada.
